Careers

There are no jobs here. There is a problem, and it is bigger than one person.

Outrouted is one self-employed individual in Lithuania. No funding, no headcount, and no HR system to put your name into, so a page listing five openings with a benefits grid would be the first dishonest thing on this site.

What is true: the thing being built needs four kinds of work and only one of them is getting done properly at a time. If one of those is what you do, and the problem is one you have also had, write. You will get a real reply from the person doing all four.

What writing in actually gets you

How big is the team?

One. Not “a small team”. One individual with an individual activity certificate. Anything you join, you join at the point where nothing is delegated yet.

Is there a salary?

Not today, and pretending otherwise would waste your afternoon. What can be discussed honestly is scope, a share of what the product makes, or paid project work when there is revenue to pay it from.

What would I actually do?

Own one of the four areas below end to end. There is no ticket queue to pick from and nobody to hand a design to. The person who decides is the person who ships it.

Will anyone read it?

Yes, and you will get an answer either way, including a plain no with the reason. There is no applicant tracking system to disappear into.

The four

What is not getting done

Pick the one that sounds like you, say what you have built, and be specific. A link to something real beats a paragraph about passion for travel.

  • Engineering

TypeScript across a Next.js front end, a NestJS API and a pure domain package. Route solving, live provider adapters, and the parts of the map that have to stay fast on a phone.

  • Product and brand design

Product and brand. The design system exists and is enforced by tests; what it needs is somebody who can take a screen from “works” to “obviously right” and hold the whole thing together as it grows.

  • Travel research and content

The part no model can fake: which places are actually worth the nights, what a permit really takes, where the catalogue is wrong. Travel research that ends at an official source.

  • Growth and partnerships

Getting it in front of people who plan the drive before they book the flight. Content, partnerships, and the honest kind of distribution. No ad network, and no growth hacking we would then have to disclose.

Say what you have shipped and which part of the stack you would rather live in.
